  • The Willow Foundation was founded in 1999 by former Arsenal and Scotland goalkeeper and TV presenter, Bob Wilson, and his wife Megs in memory of their daughter Anna.
  • The charity takes it's name from Anna's nickname 'Willow'. Bob was also called 'Willow' in his younger days when he was playing football.
  • In its first year the charity provided 17 special days
  • The 1000th application was received in June 2005
  • In 2008 the charity will provide 1,400 special days
  • To date there has been more than 3,000 special days
