Choosing your special day
The list below provides examples of some of the most popular special day requests the Foundation has received. It is by no means a finite list but is meant as a tool to fuel your imagination in choosing the type of day that you would most enjoy.
- A flight in a helicopter or hot air balloon
- A day's motor racing (could include tuition in racing cars, off-road driving or rally)
- Tickets to a major sporting event e.g. premiership football, rugby, tennis etc
- Multi-activity day e.g. horse-riding, shooting, inflatables, go-karting etc
- A sporting activity of your choice (e.g. sailing, golf etc) with tuition if required
- Tickets to a West End show, pop concert, comedy club or exhibition
- Dinner at a restaurant of your choice
- Day at an amusement park (e.g. Alton Towers, Chessington World of Adventures)
- Day trip on the Orient Express
- Family trip to Center Parcs
- Weekend in the country or a city break
- Tour of London (could include a trip on the River Thames and/or a flight on the London Eye)
- Tickets for a city event e.g. The Edinburgh Tattoo
- Day of pampering at a health spa
- Special dinner party prepared by a private chef in your own home
- Family party (could include catering and entertainment as required)
