"Bob and I became friends ten years ago. I was presenting the late night news and Bob's midweek football programme came from the same studio. When Bob and Megs asked me to become a patron of the Willow Foundation I was delighted of course but much more than that, I was deeply honoured. The Foundation is so important to them - so much a part of their lives - that to be invited in felt like an extraordinary privilege. It still does."
