Pat Jennings OBE KSG

One of the greatest goalkeepers of all time, Pat played 119 games for Northern Ireland. Starting his English playing career with Watford, he moved to Tottenham Hotspur in 1964, playing nearly 500 games for Spurs before going to Arsenal in 1977. Famous for his giant hands, Pat played over 1000 first-class games and won 4 major winner's medals. He received the Footballer of the Year Award in 1973; was voted the PFA Player of the Year in 1976 and later awarded an MBE and then OBE for services to football. In 1986 Pat was presented with an Honorary Doctorate from Ulster University and, more recently, the Pope bestowed the KSG on Pat in 1999.

"Bob and I go back a long, long way - in fact Bob was my goalkeeping coach. Eleanor and I were close to the tragedy of Anna and have followed the phenomenal success that Bob and Megs have created with the Willow Foundation. I consider it an honour that Bob asked me to be a patron."
