While each application will be assessed on its own merit, the applicant must be between the ages of 16 and 40 and the applicant's
condition must meet at least one of the following criteria:

stages of progressive life-threatening conditions |

chronic organ-specific
conditions |

In exceptional
circumstances applications from young adults may be considered
within a short time of intensive and debilitating treatment
for a life threatening illness |
